We are almost certain that Olivia Palermo has never had a fashion mishap. The Fall 2014 fringe getup that she rocked at NYFW is proving us right. Olivia wore a long, suede, beige fringe Michael Kors skirt with a brown suede shirt and accessorized with a fringed clutch, beige Aquazzura heels and her trademark perfect hair and makeup. It was exactly the right way to pull off this season’s hot fringe trend in the light of day without a hint of tackiness. Of course, we have come to expect nothing less from Olivia.
Looks from NYFW Spring Summer 2015
UPDATE: Don’t miss the next New York Fashion Week on February 12–19 2015 when the Fall 2015 collections make their debut.
Word on the street is that the two Vanessas (Moody and Walther) are the models to watch. They were seen all over the runways of NYFW for Spring/Summer 2015. Keep an eye out for these two beauties. They are turning up everywhere!
Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss and Georgia May Jagger are the it models of the moment. From Versus Versace to Oscar de la Renta to Sonia Rykiel etc. etc. etc. they were a force to be reckoned with on the runway. They are showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon and we couldn’t be happier. We love them for their groovy style both on and off the runway.
Hair and Makeup for Spring 2015
There was a common thread throughout NYFW for Spring Summer 2015. A strong 60s/early 70s influence prevailed with both hair and makeup and we were loving it. Whether it was a bohemian style reminiscent of hippies past, complete with long, straight hair and natural makeup, or a bolder eye a la Austin Powers, it all worked for us.
Go natural or go shagadelic this spring and summer and you can’t go wrong… (assuming you proceed with caution on the shagadelic).
